ActivePresenter
ActivePresenter is a screencasting and eLearning application for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X that may be used to generate software demos, simulations, and quizzes. It can export photos, HTML slideshows, documents (PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel), Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, movies (AVI, MP4, WMV, WebM), Flash films, and interactive simulations to a variety of formats (HTML5, Adobe Flash). ActivePresenter can bundle exported resources into SCORM or xAPI for eLearning. It can use mouse hovers, left or right mouse clicks, and key presses with modifier keys for software simulations.
ActivePresenter can also convert Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to one of its output formats, but some animations and effects are lost in the process, as well as convert between multiple video formats indirectly.
Atomi Systems Inc. has been developing ActivePresenter since 2007. Version 1.0 was released in October 2008, and six months later, it was made accessible on the online market in three editions, one of which was free of charge.
There are three editions available at various rates, each with the capabilities of the cheaper ones plus additional features. On the ActivePresenter website, a table compares the features of the various editions.

This edition is available at no cost (freeware). It includes most of the ActivePresenter functionality, but it can only output JPEG and PNG photos and MP4, AVI, WMV, WebM, and MKV video files. Other output formats are supported to illustrate features, however a conspicuous watermark is added to the output, which may not be used for any other purpose even with the watermark. Watermarks were added to all exported output in versions before to 2012.
